Over a month a ago, Dave
Durko and his family narrowly escaped when a fire tore thorough his home
in Herrick Township. A veteran firefighter and officer with neighboring
Uniondale Fire Company, Dave has been a long time friend and supporter
of Browndale Fire Company. |
Today was our turn to show
Dave and his family our support. 15 members and officers from Station 43
travelled to Station 28 (Pleasant Mount) to have breakfast with the Durko's
in an attempt to raise funds for Dave and his family. It was our pleasure
to be able to help. Today was just another example of fiefighters
showing their true colors. |
