Steven F. Sawyer, Staff Liaison and Senior Fire Service Specialist with the National Fire Protection Association in Quincy, MA, recently announced the appointment of Assistant Fire Chief Ronald Richards to serve on a National Fire Protection Association Technical Committee. 
 

Assistant Chief Richards will service on Emergency Service Organization Risk Management NFPA 1250 technical committee. 
 

This standard outlines an entire risk management program that an emergency services department could use as a model. It also provides guidance as to how such a plan can be a component of a jurisdiction’s risk management plan.
