Man hit by bull - June 30 2006
Tense moments: No bull
Engine 43, Car 43 and  Chief 43A responded with Forest City EMS and an ALS unit for from Cottage EMS to Maple Hill Road just before 18:00 hours last Friday for a male who was struck by a bull on in a pasture on Maple Hill Road in Clinton Township. In the midst of a heavy downpour, fire and EMS personnel worked together to help remove the injured male patient from the field.
Due to his injuries, paramedics requested a medivac. A landing zone was established by the engine crew in a nearby field. Because of the heavy rain, the medivac had an extended estimated time of arrival. A landing zone was established at Forest City  Regional High School with Engine 41 handling that detail. All companies returned service within an hour.
