Commander course 1/22/2006 |
Over 60 firefighters and fire
officers from a four county area spent the weekend in Browndale participating
in several challenging scenarios. Task Force 1, Inc. presented the Incident
Commander program featuring a state of the art fireground simulator.
The instructors for the
program provided mentoring and guidance using the National Incident Command
System (NIMS) to manage several simulated structure fires, a blaze in a
meth lab and a strip shopping center and a mass casualty incident involving
a school bus.
